Feeding Tomorrow

How do you feed 8 billion people? This is one of the biggest challenges facing humankind, and one that will only become more and more urgent as the population rises and climate change takes its toll on our planet and food supplies.

Thinking about this central issue, People’s Palace Projects do Brasil, in partnership with Flow Associates based in the UK and India, conducted a survey to find out what people in the hubs of Rio de Janeiro, London and Delhi really think about the topic of food sustainability, food availability and supplies, and possible solutions. And what is the role that science museus play on this topic.

This research was commissioned by the Science Museum Group, supported by Lloyd’s Register Foundation. Flow Associates formed a research team with Flow India and People’s Palace Projects do Brasil to consult adults, families, schools and professionals in the UK, Brazil and India to discover their knowledge and views about food sustainability, and how they could be engaged more effectively.

People’s Palace Projects has produced an annex dedicated to the findings of the research in Rio de Janeiro in partnership with Museum of Tomorrow, between May and July 2021.
